Con Edison Development
As the site’s building blocks were created, reviewed and approved, I worked more closely with our tech team in Costa Rica responsible for building the new sites in a Sitecore environment. We had to collaborate to ensure modules were built as intended, with flexibility and functionality to suit average content needs yet not be broken by complex content needs.
The team relied on template design comps that highlighted the same module ID numbers I used in the content decks and the Editorial Guide for the build.
Building the New Con Edison in Sitecore
Once approved modules and templates were built, the content and copy from the approved copy decks were also input by the Costa Rica team.
redirecting the old site
As the last step before launch, I assembled content migration tracking and created SEO- and taxonomy-friendly new URLs.
