Hi, I’m Gretchen

I’ve always worked in content. I started as a content manager, working on email programs, and learned from every project to grow into content management, then content strategy, and content design.

Until February 2025, I was the founding content designer for Okta’s Workforce Identity Cloud and part of the team that launched the Odyssey Design System. Before joining Okta in January 2022 to build the content design discipline, I was a content designer at Shopify and Verizon. I’ve also led content strategy for site redesigns, managed content for brands ranging from IBM to Huggies, and taught Harlequin romance copywriters about voice and tone.

I currently live in Naples, Florida, with my dog, Fella. After work, you’ll find me tackling DIY projects, gardening, or taking Fella to agility training.
